Moderation on Steeple

Several moderation tools are available on Steeple, both for members and for administrators.

Report a post

👉 This allows a user to alert admins about a particular post. A notification is then received (along with an email), inviting them to take action if necessary. 📖

The report is accessible to everyone, via the 3 dots at the top right of a publication.

Report a user

😉 To report a user, go to their profile page

👉 This action allows a user to report another user to the administrators (inappropriate behavior, harassment, non-compliance with the Steeple Terms of Use, etc.).

A notification is then received (as well as an email), inviting the administrators to take action if necessary. ⛔️

                                                   send a message and report

Block/unblock a user

👉 Also accessible via the user's profile page, this feature allows you to hide the visibility of another user's activity for yourself (and only for yourself).

As a user, I will therefore no longer see the publications, comments or private messages of the person I have just blocked 🤐

💡 Via this same profile page, it is possible to unblock this same user at any time.

Suspend / restore access to an account

⚠️ This feature is only available for administrators

The user will be able to connect his Steeple account but he will not have access to his community. Only a "Suspended account" page will be displayed. All notifications (mentions, messages, etc.) will also be blocked.

This action is done in the Members page of your administration, and more precisely by clicking on Actions, to the right of the user you want to suspend.

👉 This suspension can be stopped at any time, from this same place in the administration.
