Our desire: to keep things as simple as possible. Only essential information is necessary to create your job offer. The job description is broad enough to add all the details you want.
Our long-term ambition: to do it automatically. The target will be to automatically retrieve job offers to be filled on existing tools such as ATS.
Who sees the job offer I just created?
Everyone, well almost. All Steeple users in your communities will have access to the job offers you have created. These job offers are visible in Jobs, obviously, but also in the right column dedicated to modules with the Widget. Widgets are new elements in Steeple, they offer a condensed view of what's happening on Steeple Apps. The first Jobs Widget displays the last 3 job offers to be filled. Simply click on an offer in the widget to go directly to the details of a job offer.
All media can access Jobs: on computer, on mobile and very soon on TV.
How can I increase the visibility of my job offer?
Was your offer created in Jobs but hasn’t generated much interest yet? The best way to boost the visibility of your offer: highlight it in a dedicated Steeple publication on your community:
The advantage of publishing: you decide the level of importance of the publication by selecting the category of your choice, you can decide to highlight the publication for a while with pinning. You will be able to collect feedback (reactions, comments, number of views) to get an idea of the impact of your job offer even before receiving applications.
Can I decide if a job offer is open for internal mobility? in recommendation (co-optation)?
Yes, when creating a job offer, you decide who can nominate a candidate. Your vacancy is defined but not open to internal mobility or candidate recommendation, you can absolutely create the offer without opening it to mobility or co-optation. In this case, the offer will be visible to everyone but in a purely informative manner, no action will be available on this offer. If you later decide to open this offer internally, you simply have to modify the offer to authorize internal applications. At this stage, only the action of applying internally will be available. And if you wish, later still, to be open to recommendations from external candidates, in the same way, simply activate it by modifying the job offer.
How can I submit my application?
When a job offer is open in mobility, by consulting the job offer, you will have access to the button:
You will only have to explain why this offer interests you and explain your motivations. This message is intended for your HR team who will contact you according to the terms of internal mobility in your organization.
Is the “I’m interested” button not visible? This offer is probably not open to internal mobility. Find your HR team in the Steeple directory and contact them to find out more.
How can I recommend someone?
When a job offer is open for co-option, by consulting the job offer, you will have access to the button:
To recommend someone, you must, at a minimum, enter the first and last name of the person you wish to recommend. It is also necessary to explain why you are recommending this person (have you worked directly with them? Is this a family acquaintance? Do you think this job offer is a perfect fit for them? etc.).
You can also add additional information for the HR team:
- the phone number of the recommended person
- the email address of the recommended person
- a CV (PDF file, Word, etc.)
- a link to a digital CV, such as a Monster, Indeed or LinkedIn profile
The more information you add, the easier it will be for your HR team to contact your recommendation and move their application forward.
Who sees my applications or recommendations?
Only you and your community administrators. Other members of your community, your colleagues, do not have access to your applications, whether they are internal mobility or recommendations of people.
How can I know if my application has been considered?
Once you have created your application, it is shared with your HR team as a new application. When they consider this application, they update the status of your application, among:
- Application for study : your application has been taken into account and is being studied, be patient, your HR team will surely contact you.
- Application accepted: congratulations, your application has been accepted for the position.
- application declined : your application was not accepted but many other opportunities will arise.
How long are applications stored?
Applications are kept for the duration of the opening of the associated job offer. Once the job posting is deleted from Jobs, we keep the archived data for 3 months to secure possible data restorations and for statistical calculations. After this period, all data is permanently deleted.
