1. Introduction to Steeple's Events App
Presentation of the Events App
The Steeple Events App allows you to centralize and communicate all the events shaping your company’s life. It provides all the tools necessary to enhance your organization with memorable moments and shared experiences. View key moments and upcoming deadlines on your computer, phone, or touch screens.
The Steeple Events App is not the "Event" module but its future evolution.
Page Objectives
After reading this content, you’ll be able to manage events using the Events app, enhance communication about these events, and boost engagement around these significant moments.
2. Getting Started
Activation
Events is currently available upon request. For activation details, contact our consultants. Once activated, Events will be visible to all your colleagues in your Steeple space.
First Use
When activated, Events starts with no preloaded events. Previously declared events in the "Events" module are not automatically carried over, except for birthdays if members' birthdates are available. These will appear automatically in the Events App.
3. Navigation
Main Interface
Events consists of several screens:
- Upcoming Events
- Birthdays
- Event History
Upcoming Events
The main page of the Events app lists all known events in reverse chronological order—showing the most imminent ones first. Scrolling down takes you further into the future.
Events are grouped into sections for better readability:
- Today: Includes all events and birthdays happening today. This section is also visible on your desktop and in the "Apps" section on touch screens.
- This Week: Displays remaining events and birthdays from Monday to Sunday.
- This Month: Shows all upcoming events and birthdays for the month.
Events spanning multiple days may remain in the "Today" section for several consecutive days.
Birthdays
This page lists all birthdays for members who have entered their birthdates in their Steeple profiles. It highlights upcoming birthdays first, helping you never miss the chance to celebrate—even if a birthday falls on a non-working day.
Event History
Find all past events here. Whether you participated or not, you can see what recently happened in your organization.
