It is not possible to configure a fixed IP address in the Chromebox settings. However, you can assign the Chromebox's mac address to the IP address you want using DHCP addressing.
In some cases, to connect via Ethernet, prior authorization is required by resigning the network identifier of the device.
This is why it is necessary to recover the mac address.
Here are the different steps to follow to get it on a device (chromebox / chromebit):
- Connect a keyboard and a mouse to the chromebox / chromebit hub
- Restart the chromebox and press Ctrl + Alt + S
- Click on the menu at the bottom right
- Then click on your network (here "No network detected")
- You can now click on the i icon
- You can now write down the ethernet address!
