# Roles and permissions in Posts

### The roles of the Posts application

#### Global administrator

* Assign the role of **Communicator** to collaborators
* Access all Administration features

#### Communicator

* Manage **all sections** of the organization (create, edit, delete)
* Modify the contributors and audience of the sections
* View Posts Statistics (views, likes, comments)
* Manage scheduled and pinned posts
* Prepare and share drafts

#### Contributor

* Create posts **only in the sections assigned to them**
* Manage their own posts (edit, delete)

#### Collaborator

* View the posts in sections where they are part of the audience
* Like and comment on posts (if enabled)
* Vote in polls

### Management of posting rights

The administrator can configure posting rights from **Administration** > **Settings** of the Posts application:

* Who can manage the sections
* Access to Inspirations (library of post ideas)
* Alert frequency

### What the assistant can do

The assistant cannot directly modify Posts roles. It can explain how permissions work and guide users to the Administration pages.
