# How do I use shared drafts?

### Overview

The **shared drafts** allow a communicator to prepare a post and send it to one or more collaborators so they can finalize it and publish it under their own name.

### Create and share a draft

1. Create a post in News without publishing it (save as draft)
2. From the draft list, select the draft to share
3. Choose the **recipients** (one or more collaborators)
4. The draft is sent and the recipients receive a notification

### On the recipient side

The drafts received appear in the section **"Shared with"** of the News app.

The recipient can:

* View the draft with all its content (title, description, media, poll, event, link preview)
* Finalize it and publish it under their own name
* The shared draft serves as a **template** for reuse

### Tracking

The draft creator can track the sharing status:

* **Sent** : the draft has been sent to the recipient
* **Published** : the recipient has published from the draft

The creator can also **cancel the sharing** of a draft.

### Draft management

* **My drafts** : list of personal drafts (not published)
* **Shared with** : drafts received from other communicators
* A draft can be edited or deleted at any time

### What the assistant can do

The assistant cannot share drafts directly. It can explain how it works and guide users to the News app.
