This update introduces the Radio app, which makes it possible to create and broadcast audio shows directly in Steeple, using three modes adapted to each use case β€” from fully automatic generation to live recording. πŸ†• What’s available * **Automatic mode** : generation of a daily or weekly show from existing posts and events on Steeple, scoped to a defined community. No manual production required. * **Import mode** : import an existing audio file with automatic detection of speech zones (Silero VAD) to transcribe only the relevant passages, ignoring silences and jingles. Result: accurate, clean, time-stamped subtitles. * **Live recording mode** : real-time voice capture with immediate transcription via Whisper, displayed under the recorder as the audio is being recorded. * **Segment management** : playback, deletion, and drag-and-drop reordering to refine the edit before publication. * **Local saving** : if the page is refreshed, segments and transcriptions are automatically restored from the browser, without restarting transcription. * **One-click publishing** : the segments are assembled into a single audio file, automatically uploaded β€” the episode moves to ready status without re-transcription. ℹ️ Note: the mode chosen when creating an episode is final.
