Go to the Categories section of your administration interface: you are now on the page allowing you to manage your categories and sub / categories.
Click on Add a subcategory located next to the name of the category concerned:
A new window appears in order to configure the subcategory:
- Give a title to your new subcategory
- Select the mother category
- Choose a background image
Find out How to restrict publication rights in sub-categories? if you want to limit the number people who can post in this sub-category.
Once everything is set up, click on Save to create your subcategory.
Steeplechase advice: do not put more than 5 subcategories. Because a subcategory, in a subcategory, of another subcategory being itself in a subcategory ... Well, we get lost a little!
