# Permissions and roles

## HR role

The role **HR** gives access to all offer and application management features:

* Create, edit, publish, and delete job postings
* View all applications for all job postings
* Change application status (New → Under review → Accepted/Rejected)
* Delete applications
* View job posting view statistics
* Manage other users' permissions

## Standard user

Employees without the HR role can:

* View job postings **open** from the communities they are part of
* Apply through **internal mobility** (if enabled on the posting)
* Recommend a candidate through **employee referral** (if enabled on the posting)
* View and manage their own applications in **My applications**

## Assign the HR role

1. Go to **Jobs** > **Settings** (`/app/jobs/settings`)
2. Search for the employee
3. Assign them the HR role

Only organization administrators and existing HR users can manage roles.
