# Jobs app — Job listings and applications

### Overview

**Jobs** is Steeple's job offers management application. It allows you to publish job offers, receive internal applications (internal mobility) and external referrals (employee referrals).

### What the assistant can do

With the scope **Job postings**, the assistant can:

* **List** all the organization's job offers
* **View** the details of a job offer (title, location, contract type, description, status)
* **Create** a new job offer
* **Edit** an existing job offer (title, description, status, etc.)
* **Delete** a job offer
* **View applications** associated with a job offer
* **Change status** of an application (New → Under review → Accepted/Rejected)
* **See views** of a job offer (who viewed it)

### Contract types

The available contract types are:

* **Permanent contract** — Open-ended contract
* **Fixed-term contract** — Fixed-term contract
* **Seasonal fixed-term contract**
* **Freelance**
* **Internship**
* **Apprenticeship**

### Job statuses

* **Draft** : the job offer is not visible to employees
* **Open** : the job offer is published and visible
* **Closed** : the job offer is archived, no longer visible

### Applications

Two types of applications:

* **Internal mobility** : an employee applies for an internal position
* **Referral** : an employee refers an external candidate

Application statuses: **New** → **Under review** → **Accepted** or **Rejected**

### Permissions

* The **HR users** can create, edit, delete job offers and manage applications
* The **standard users** only see open offers and can apply or refer
* The HR role is managed in the **Settings** of the Jobs application

### Navigation

The Jobs application is accessible from Steeple's main menu (`/app/jobs`). If it does not appear, check its visibility in **Administration** > **Apps** (`/administration/apps`).
