# Jobs app — listings and applications

### Introduction

**Jobs** is Steeple's job posting management application. It allows you to publish jobs, receive internal applications (internal mobility) and external referrals (employee referrals).

### What the assistant can do

With the scope **Jobs**, the assistant can:

* **List** all of the organization's Jobs
* **View** the details of a job posting (title, location, contract type, description, status)
* **Create** a new job posting
* **Edit** an existing job posting (title, description, status, etc.)
* **Delete** a job posting
* **View applications** associated with a job posting
* **Change status** of an application (New → Under review → Accepted/Rejected)
* **View views** of a job posting (who viewed it)

### Contract types

The available contract types are:

* **CDI** — Permanent contract
* **CDD** — Fixed-term contract
* **Seasonal fixed-term contract**
* **Freelance**
* **Internship**
* **Apprenticeship**

### Job posting statuses

* **Draft** : the job posting is not visible to employees
* **Open** : the job posting is published and visible
* **Closed** : the job posting is archived and no longer visible

### Applications

Two types of applications:

* **Internal mobility** : an employee applies for an internal position
* **Referral** : an employee recommends an external candidate

Application statuses: **New** → **Under review** → **Accepted** or **Rejected**

### Permissions

* The **HR users** can create, edit, delete job postings and manage applications
* The **standard users** only see open job postings and can apply or refer candidates
* The HR role is managed in the **Settings** of the Jobs application

### Navigation

The Jobs application is accessible from the main menu of Steeple (`/app/jobs`). If it doesn't appear, check its visibility in **Administration** > **Applications** (`/administration/apps`).
