# Reset password

Go to the'**Administration** section **Employees** (`/administration/users`).

Go to the relevant employee’s profile by clicking on their name, then use the action of **password reset**.

## What happens

* A reset email is sent to the employee’s email address
* The employee will receive a link allowing them to choose a new password
* The old password remains valid until the employee sets a new one via the link received
