# How do I sign up with an employee number?

Registration by employee ID and date of birth is gradually disappearing. If your organization has switched to identifiers, you no longer have a registration link: log in on the [login page](https://app.steeple.com/login) of Steeple with the identifier given to you by your organization, made up of its prefix and your employee ID (for example `ABC-1234`), then with your day and month of birth as the code (`1403` if you were born on March 14). Steeple then asks you to choose your password.

### Registration by employee ID

Some Steeple Communities use a registration method by **identification number (employee ID)** instead of the usual email address. This mode is configured by the Community administrator.

### First login

During the first registration in a community with employee ID:

1. Access the community's registration link
2. Enter the following information:
   * **Identification number** (employee ID provided by the company)
   * **Date of birth**
   * **First name** and **Last name**
   * **Email address**
   * **Password** (minimum 8 characters, with uppercase, lowercase, and a number)
   * **Acceptance of the Terms of Use**
3. Submit registration

### Subsequent logins

After the first registration, log in with the**email and password** set during registration (and no longer with the employee ID).

### What the assistant can do

The assistant can't handle registration by employee ID. It can explain how it works and guide the user.
