# Remove old communication tools

### Turn the page

When the platform is ready, the tools have been identified, the managers have been supported, and usage of Steeple is firmly in place, it is time to turn the page.

### 1. Use the old tools to announce their own end

Make **internal comms** to pay them a final tribute... and prepare the transition.

* **Internal newsletter** : one final special issue *"Turn the page: from now on, everything happens on Steeple"*
* **Notice board** : a message such as *"Your notice board is retiring"*
* **Newsletter** : an issue titled *"LastLetter"*

**Turn each channel into a springboard to Steeple** : add a **QR code** linking to the platform (news feed, touchscreen, or mobile app).

### 2. Do it in a fun... but directive way

#### *Steeple Mission* : the game in the style of *killer*

Every employee becomes a **special agent** of digital transformation. **Objective** : identify the old communication tools still visible in the company (posters, notice boards, WhatsApp, bulk mailings, information booklets) and **neutralize them**.

**How do you neutralize a tool?**

* By posting on Steeple a **provided visual "tool neutralized"** (e.g. an HR announcement, a schedule, safety information)
* Or by **sticking a "tool neutralized" sticker** on the obsolete medium

**To validate:**

* Take a **photo or screenshot**
* The **post it on Steeple** with the hashtag **#MissionSteeple**

**Up for grabs:**

* Some **goodies** for participants
* A **ranking of the most active departments**
* An **interactive map** of the company with the areas "cleaned up" over the days

### 3. Dismantle the physical media

Once the tools have been clearly identified and neutralized, **dismantle the physical media** : notice boards, display cases, document holders, cork boards...

This symbolic but concrete gesture **makes the change tangible** and prevents any return to old habits. Involving teams in the dismantling can even strengthen ownership of the new communication method.

### 4. Update the IT charter

Add a simple and clear clause to the charter or internal regulations:

> *"As of XX/XX/2025, **Steeple becomes the sole internal communication channel**. The use of other media to distribute collective information is prohibited."*

This anchors the change over time, especially for new arrivals or service providers.

### Bonus tip: a symbolic closing

Organize a **collective moment** to mark the end of an era:

* Taking down the notice board
* Farewell drink for the old tools
