# How do I join a community?

### Join a community

From **Settings** > **Communities** > **Join a community**, the list of available communities is displayed.

Registration depends on the mode configured by the community administrator:

#### Standard registration

* Click on the desired community
* Fill out the form with email and password (if you do not already have an account)
* Or log in with an existing account

#### SSO registration

* Click the SSO login button
* Authenticate via the configured identity provider (Azure AD, Google Workspace, Okta, etc.)

#### Registration by employee number

* Enter the identification number (employee number) and date of birth
* Complete the profile information

### Membership request

Some communities require **approval by an administrator** before you can access them. In this case, after the request, a message indicates that the access request is pending. The administrator receives a notification and can accept or رفض the request.

### Invitation link

It is also possible to join a community via an **invitation link** sent by an administrator. The link redirects directly to the community registration page.

### What the assistant can do

With the Administration scope, the assistant can manage membership requests (accept or reject) and invite collaborators to a community.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.steeple.com/en/administration/rejoindre-communaute.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
