# How do I hide or show an app?

### Affected applications

The following applications can be hidden or shown:

* **News** (news feed, also called "Feeds")
* **Jobs** (job postings)
* **Docs** (documents)
* **Events** (events)

The applications **Posts**, **Messaging** and **Directory** cannot be hidden.

### Hide an application

Go to the**Administration**, section **Apps** (`/administration/apps`).

1. Click the button **Learn more** of the relevant application
2. On the detail page, click the button **Hide application**
3. Confirm the action in the confirmation window

The application will be hidden from user interfaces (mobile, touch screen, computer). The administrator can still access it via the button **View application** to prepare content before making it visible.

### Show an application

1. From the page **Apps**, click on **Learn more** of the hidden application
2. Click the button **Show application**
3. Confirm the action

The application becomes visible again to all users.
